A library space has a constant flow of information and skills, in and out - with inquiry, creativity, knowledge building and collaboration going on all the time. As is a harbour, the library space is a meeting place of many cultures fitting in with the four pillars of our mission statement - Diversity, Passion, Identity, Understanding. The library also offers the opportunity to travel the world and beyond, to reach into the realms of the imagination, to experience the world of reading. Further the space is a harbour in that it offers a refuge or a calm environment where members of our community can be still, read, catch their breath.
THE GARDEN

The central cog where learning, inquiring, creativity, reading for relaxation and pleasure, collaboration, international mindedness are all fostered.

Haven means a place that you enjoy, where you feel serene.A perfect name for a perfect place to curl up with a good book or research in peace and quiet.

Because it holds books and it is a big library.

I think it would be a good name because it suggests reading is a fantastic thing.
BUSY BOOKS
I chose the name because its a nice name for a library and because there are a lot of books.

People go to The Bakery for their daily bread. People could go to The Bookery for their daily dose of reading.
THE BOOK NOOK
Because a nook is the best place to read a book and it rhymes.
